अभ्यवर्तन्महाबाहु: सूर्यवैश्वानरप्रभ: । सूर्य और अग्निके समान तेजस्वी और शस्त्र-धारियोंमें श्रेष्ठ महाबाहु कर्ण रोष और जोशमें भरकर सेनापतिकी रक्षामें तत्पर हुए आपके पुत्रोंके साथ प्रमुख भागमें स्थित हो कौरव-सेनाको अपने साथ खींचता हुआ बड़ी शोभा पा रहा था, वह शत्रुओंके सामने डटा हुआ था

پھر مہاباہو کرن، سورج اور ویشوانر آگ کی مانند درخشاں، غضب اور جوش سے بھر کر سپہ سالار کی حفاظت پر کمر بستہ ہوا۔ اگلے حصے میں تمہارے بیٹوں کے ساتھ کھڑا ہو کر وہ کورو فوج کو اپنے ساتھ کھینچتا ہوا دشمنوں کے سامنے ثابت قدم رہا اور میدانِ جنگ کی شان سے جگمگاتا دکھائی دیا۔
