आरुरोह तदा स्थाणुर्धनुषा कम्पयन् परान् । तब विष्णु, चन्द्रमा और अग्निसे उत्पन्न हुए उस बाणको हाथमें लेकर महादेवजी अपने धनुषके द्वारा शत्रुओंको कम्पित करते हुए उस रथपर चढ़ गये
āruroha tadā sthāṇur dhanuṣā kampayan parān | tad viṣṇu-candra-māgni-sambhūtaṁ taṁ bāṇaṁ haste gṛhītvā mahādevaḥ sva-dhanuṣā śatrūn kampayan ratham ārūḍhavān ||
بھیشم نے کہا— “تب ستھانُو (شیو) اپنے کمان سے دشمنوں کو لرزاتا ہوا رتھ پر سوار ہوا۔ وشنو، چاند اور اگنی سے پیدا ہونے والا کہا جانے والا وہ تیر ہاتھ میں لے کر، مہادیو نے اپنے کمان کے زور سے دشمن کی صفوں میں ہیبت و خوف بھر دیا۔”
