कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
(तव प्रसादाद् वध्येरन् देव दैवतकण्टका: । स नो रक्ष महाबाहो दैत्येभ्यो महतो भयात् ।।
tava prasādād vadhyeran deva daivatakaṇṭakāḥ | sa no rakṣa mahābāho daityebhyo mahato bhayāt || tvaṃ hi no gatir avyagra tvaṃ no goptā mahāvrata | tvatprasādāt surāḥ sarve pūjyante tridive prabho || iti te śirasā gatvā trilokeśaṃ pitāmaham |
دُریودھن نے کہا— “اے ربّ! آپ کے فضل سے وہ دَیتیہ—جو دیوتاؤں کے لیے کانٹے کی مانند ہیں—قتل کیے جائیں گے۔ اے قوی بازو والے! دَیتیہوں کے عظیم خوف سے ہماری حفاظت کیجیے۔ آپ ہی ہماری بےاضطراب پناہ ہیں؛ آپ ہی ہمارے نگہبان ہیں، اے عظیم نذر والے آقا۔ آپ کی عنایت سے ہی تری دیو (سورگ) میں سب دیوتا معزز و معبود سمجھے جاتے ہیں۔” یہ کہہ کر اس نے سر جھکایا اور تینوں لوکوں کے مالک پِتامہ کے پاس گیا۔
