कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
निपातात्तव शस्त्राणां शरीरे याभवद् रुजा | तया ते मानुषं कर्म व्यपोर्द भूगुनन्दन
nipātāt tava śastrāṇāṃ śarīre yābhavad rujā | tayā te mānuṣaṃ karma vyapod bhṛgunandana, gṛhāṇāstrāṇi divyāni matsakāśād yathepsitam ||
انہوں نے کہا—“اے بھृگو کے نندن! دَیتّیوں کے اسلحہ کے وار سے تیرے جسم میں جو تکلیف پیدا ہوئی، اس کے اثر سے تیرے لیے محض انسانی عمل کی حدیں مٹ گئیں؛ اب تو دیوتاؤں کے مانند ہو گیا ہے۔ لہٰذا اپنی خواہش کے مطابق مجھ سے دیویہ استر و شستر قبول کر۔”
