धृतराष्ट्रस्य मूर्च्छा स्त्रीणां च आर्तनादः
Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Collapse and the Lament of the Palace Women
तदिदं निहते द्रोणे विषण्णमिव लक्ष्यते । युध्यमानाश्व समरे योधा वध्यन्ति सर्वश:
tad idaṁ nihate droṇe viṣaṇṇam iva lakṣyate | yudhyamānāś ca samare yodhā vadhyante sarvaśaḥ ||
سنجے نے کہا—درون کے مارے جانے کے بعد یہ سارا لشکر گویا غم میں ڈوبا ہوا دکھائی دیتا ہے۔ کیونکہ میدانِ جنگ میں لڑنے والے یودھا ہر طرف سے مارے جاتے ہیں؛ رن بھومی میں کبھی فتح ملتی ہے اور کبھی موت—اس میں تعجب ہی کیا؟ لہٰذا تم سب ہر سمت رخ کر کے نئے جوش کے ساتھ جنگ کرو۔
