वैदूर्यमणिदण्डांश्व पतितांश्वाड्कुशान् भुवि । अश्वानां च युगापीडान् रत्नचित्रानुरश्छदान्

vaidūryamaṇidaṇḍāṃś ca patitāṃś cāṅkuśān bhuvi |
aśvānāṃ ca yugāpīḍān ratnacitrān uraśchadān |
سنجے نے کہا—دیکھو، زمین پر ویدوریہ جواہرات سے جڑے ہوئے ڈنڈے اور انکُش گرے پڑے ہیں۔ گھوڑوں کے یوگاپیڑ اور جواہرات سے آراستہ سینہ بند بھی ادھر اُدھر بکھرے ہیں۔ جو شان و شوکت رہنمائی اور حفاظت کے لیے تھی، وہی جنگ کی گرد میں ٹھکرا کر بربادی کی تصویر بن گئی ہے۔
