शेषा नृपतयो वीरा: स्थिता व्यूहस्य दंशिता: । यथाभागं यथोत्साहं यथायत्नं च भारत,भारत! शेष वीर नरेश कवच धारण करके व्यूहके विभिन्न भागोंमें अपने उत्साह और प्रयत्नके अनुसार खड़े हुए थे
śeṣā nṛpatayo vīrāḥ sthitā vyūhasya daṃśitāḥ | yathābhāgaṃ yathotsāhaṃ yathāyatnaṃ ca bhārata ||
اے بھارت! باقی رہ جانے والے بہادر راجے زرہ پہن کر لشکر کی صف بندی کے مختلف حصّوں میں اپنے اپنے حصّے، اپنے جوش اور اپنی کوشش کی طاقت کے مطابق جا کھڑے ہوئے۔
संजय उवाच
Even in warfare, action is framed by role and responsibility: warriors are placed according to assigned duty (bhāga), inner resolve (utsāha), and sustained effort (yatna). The verse highlights disciplined coordination over reckless individualism.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the remaining kings, fully armored, are taking up their respective positions within the arranged battle-formation, each standing where he belongs and fighting in keeping with his strength and zeal.
