सुनीतैरिह सर्वार्थि्दैवमप्यनुलोम्यते । ते वयं प्रवरं नृणां सर्वैर्गुणगणैर्युतम्‌

saṃjaya uvāca | sunītair iha sarvārthair daivam apy anulomyate | te vayaṃ pravaraṃ nṛṇāṃ sarvair guṇagaṇair yutam |

سنجے نے کہا—یہاں اگر ہر کام اچھی پالیسی اور درست، دھرم کے مطابق طرزِ عمل کے ساتھ کیا جائے تو دیو (تقدیر) بھی موافق ہو جاتی ہے۔ اس لیے، اے بھارت! ہم انسانوں میں برتر، تمام اوصاف کے مجموعے سے آراستہ کرن کو لشکر کے سپہ سالار کے منصب پر مسند نشین کریں گے؛ اور اسے سپہ سالار بنا کر دشمنوں کو کچل ڈالیں گے۔
