असकृच्छून्यवन्मोहाद् धृतराष्ट्रस्य शुण्वतः । अहं च तात कर्णश्न भ्राता दुःशासनश्ल मे
sañjaya uvāca | asakṛc chūnyavan mohād dhṛtarāṣṭrasya śṛṇvataḥ | ahaṃ ca tāta karṇaś ca bhrātā duḥśāsanaś ca me |
سنجے نے کہا—فریبِ وہم میں، دھرتراشٹر کے سنتے ہوئے، بھری ہوئی سبھا میں بھی گویا خلوت میں، کرن کے ساتھ نہایت خوش ہو کر تم نے بار بار بڑے اصرار سے یہ کہا—“تات! میں، کرن اور بھائی دُہشاسن—ہم تینوں ہی میدانِ جنگ میں اکٹھے ہو کر پانڈوؤں کو قتل کر دیں گے۔” ایسی ہی شیخی میں نے تمہیں ہر مجلس میں بگھارتے سنا ہے۔
