युधिष्ठिर उवाच
This line is a colophon rather than a doctrinal verse: it teaches how the Mahābhārata organizes narration—by parva, sub-parva, speaker attribution, and chapter numbering—so the reader can track authority, context, and sequence.
The text is marking the end of Chapter 112 of the Droṇa Parva, specifically within the Jayadratha-slaying episode, and notes that the preceding material is framed as Yudhiṣṭhira’s words.
