अभिमन्यु–अलम्बुसयुद्धम् / The Duel of Abhimanyu and Alambusa

तावापतन्तौ सहितौ त्वरितौ बलिनां वरौ | अभ्यधावत वेगेन त्वरमाणो वृकोदर:,बलवानोंमें श्रेष्ठ उन दोनों वीरोंको एक साथ शीघ्रतापूर्वक आते देख भीमसेन भी उतावले होकर बड़े वेगसे उनकी ओर बढ़े
tāv āpatantau sahitau tvaritau balināṃ varau | abhyadhāvata vegena tvaramāṇo vṛkodaraḥ ||
سنجے نے کہا—جب ان دونوں کو، جو زورآوروں میں برتر تھے، ایک ساتھ تیزی سے بڑھتے دیکھا تو وِرکودر (بھیم) بھی بےتاب ہو کر بڑے ہی زور سے ان کی طرف لپکا۔
