अभिमन्यु–अलम्बुसयुद्धम् / The Duel of Abhimanyu and Alambusa
with Arjuna’s approach to Bhīṣma
समुद्यम्य गदां गुर्वी यमदण्डोपमां रणे
saṃudyamya gadāṃ gurvīṃ yamadaṇḍopamāṃ raṇe | śṛṅgadhārī kailāsaparvatopamāṃ gadām ūrdhvaṃ dhārayantaṃ bhīmasenaṃ dṛṣṭvā duryodhanaś cāśvatthāmā ca yugapat tam abhyadhāvatām ||
سنجے نے کہا—میدانِ جنگ میں یم کے ڈنڈے جیسی ہولناک بھاری گدا اٹھا کر بھیم سین نے اسے بلند کیا؛ وہ سینگوں والے کوہِ کیلاش کی مانند دکھائی دیتا تھا۔ اسے یوں دیکھ کر دُریودھن اور درون پتر اشوتھاما دونوں ایک ساتھ اس پر ٹوٹ پڑے۔
