अध्याय ८० — मध्यंदिन-रणवृत्तान्तः

सम्प्राप्य मध्यं सैन्यस्थ न भी: पाण्डवमाविशत् । यथा देवासूुरे युद्धे महेन्द्रं प्राप्प दानवान्,कौरवसेनाके भीतर पहुँच जानेपर भी पाण्डुनन्दन भीमसेनको तनिक भी भय नहीं हुआ, जैसे देवासुर-संग्राममें दानवोंकी सेनामें घुसनेपर देवराज इन्द्रको भयका स्पर्श नहीं होता है
saṃprāpya madhyaṃ sainyastha na bhīḥ pāṇḍavam āviśat | yathā devāsure yuddhe mahendraṃ prāpya dānavān ||
سنجے نے کہا—کوروَسینا کے عین بیچ پہنچ جانے پر بھی پاندو کے بیٹے بھیم سین کے دل میں ذرّہ بھر خوف نہ آیا؛ جیسے دیو-اسُر جنگ میں دانوؤں کے بیچ جا پڑنے پر بھی مہندر اندَر کو خوف چھو نہیں سکتا۔
