एवमेनं विजानीहि आचार्य पितरं गुरुम् । कृष्णो यस्य प्रसीदेत लोकास्तेनाक्षया जिता:
evam enaṃ vijānīhi ācārya pitaraṃ gurum | kṛṣṇo yasya prasīdet lokās tenākṣayā jitāḥ ||
اسی طرح اسے اپنے آچارْیَ، باپ اور بزرگ مرشد کے طور پر پہچانو۔ جس پر شری کرشن راضی ہو جائیں، وہ اسی کرپا کے سبب لازوال طور پر عوالم پر فتح پا لیتا ہے۔
भीष्म उवाच
Bhīṣma teaches that rightful recognition and reverence toward one’s ācārya/guru (as teacher and father) is integral to dharma, and that true, lasting victory is grounded not merely in force but in the favor (prasāda) of Kṛṣṇa—symbolizing divine sanction and moral alignment.
Bhīṣma, speaking within the Bhīṣma Parva’s war-context, urges the listener to understand a particular revered figure as an ācārya, father, and guru, and then asserts a broader principle: whoever gains Kṛṣṇa’s pleasure attains an inexhaustible conquest of the worlds—i.e., enduring success and legitimacy.
