भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)
विद्रवत्येव तत् सैन्यं पश्यतोद्रोण भीष्मयो: । महामना भीष्म और द्रोणके रोकनेपर भी उनके सामने ही वह सेना भागती ही चली जा रही थी
vidravaty eva tat sainyaṁ paśyato droṇa-bhīṣmayoḥ |
سنجے نے کہا—درون اور بھیشم کے دیکھتے دیکھتے، ان کے روکنے کی کوشش کے باوجود، وہ لشکر انہی کے سامنے بھاگتا ہی چلا گیا۔
