भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)
ततो दुर्योधनो राजा प्रहारवरपीडित: । निषसाद रथोपस्थे कश्मलं च जगाम ह,तब उस बाणके गहरे आघातसे पीड़ित हो राजा दुर्योधन रथकी बैठकमें बैठ गया और उसे मूर्च्छा आ गयी
tato duryodhano rājā prahāravarapīḍitaḥ | niṣasāda rathopasthe kaśmalaṃ ca jagāma ha ||
پھر اس شدید ضرب سے ستایا ہوا بادشاہ دُریودھن رتھ کی نشست پر ڈھہ کر بیٹھ گیا اور اس پر غشی اور اضطراب طاری ہو گیا۔
