Educational Q&A

The verse highlights a disciplined approach to knowledge: a proper summary is valuable, but a seeker may request fuller detail from a trustworthy, truth-knowing narrator. It models respectful inquiry and the responsibility of the learned to explain clearly.

Dhṛtarāṣṭra addresses Sañjaya, acknowledging that Sañjaya has already given a concise, methodical description of an island/continent, and now requests an expanded, detailed account.
