रथे भीष्मस्य चिक्षेप यथा देवो धनेश्वर: । उधर श्वेतने क्रोधसे व्याप्त हो उस गदाको आकाशमें घुमाकर भीष्मके रथपर फेंक दिया, मानो कुबेरने गदाका प्रहार किया हो ।। ९२ ह ।। तया भीष्मनिपातिन्या स रथो भस्मसात्कृत:

Transliteration

rathe bhīṣmasya cikṣepa yathā devo dhaneśvaraḥ | tayā bhīṣmanipātinyā sa ratho bhasmasāt-kṛtaḥ ||

Translation

غصّے سے بھر کر اس نے گدا کو آسمان میں گھما کر بھیشم کے رتھ پر دے ماری، گویا دولت کے دیوتا کوبیر نے گدا کا وار کیا ہو۔ اس بھیشم گران ضرب سے رتھ راکھ ہو گیا۔
