भीष्मविक्रमदर्शनं तथा क्रौञ्चारुणव्यूहविधानम् | Bhīṣma’s Ascendancy and the Organization of the Krauñcāruṇa Formation
कार्यमित्येव यत् कर्म नियतं क्रियते<र्जुन । सड्ूूं त्यक्त्वा फलं चैव स त्याग: सात््विको मत:,हे अर्जुन! जो शास्त्रविहित कर्म करना कर्तव्य है--इसी भावसे आसक्ति और फलका त्याग करके किया जाता है--वही सात्त्विक त्याग माना गया है*
kāryam ity eva yat karma niyataṁ kriyate 'rjuna | saṅgaṁ tyaktvā phalaṁ caiva sa tyāgaḥ sāttviko mataḥ ||
اے ارجن! جو مقررہ اور شاستر-مقرر عمل محض اس بھاؤ سے کیا جائے کہ ‘یہ میرا فرض ہے’—اور اس میں نہ لگاؤ رہے نہ پھل کا دعویٰ—تو اسی ترک کو ساتتوِک ترک مانا گیا ہے۔
