उत्पातवर्णनम् (Utpāta-varṇanam) — Catalogue of Portents
शस्त्राणि चैव राजेन्द्र प्रज्वलन्तीव सम्प्रति । सप्तर्षीणामुदाराणां समवच्छाद्यते प्रभा,राजेन्द्र! सभी शस्त्र इस समय जलते-से प्रतीत होते हैं। उदार सप्तर्षियोंकी प्रभा फीकी पड़ती जाती है
śastrāṇi caiva rājendra prajvalantīva samprati | saptarṣīṇām udārāṇāṁ samavacchādyate prabhā ||
ویاس نے کہا—اے راجندر! اس وقت سبھی ہتھیار گویا بھڑکتے ہوئے دکھائی دیتے ہیں۔ عالی مرتبہ سَپت رِشیوں کی تابانی پر پردہ پڑ رہا ہے اور وہ مدھم ہوتی جا رہی ہے۔
