Granting Sañjaya Divine Sight and the Description of Omens
इस प्रकार श्रीमह्मा भारत भीष्मपर्वके अन्तर्गत जम्बूण्डविनिर्माणपर्वमें सैन्यशिक्षणविषयक पहला अध्याय पूरा हुआ
vaiśampāyana uvāca
tataḥ pūrvāpare sainye samīkṣya bhagavān ṛṣiḥ |
sarvavedavidāṃ śreṣṭho vyāsaḥ satyavatīsutaḥ ||
وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا—پھر ستیوتی کے فرزند، تمام وید-دانوں میں برتر، بھگوان رشی ویاس نے مشرق و مغرب کی سمت آمنے سامنے صف بستہ دونوں لشکروں کا جائزہ لیا۔ آنے والی ہولناک جنگ کے انجام کو وہ گویا دل کی آنکھ سے دیکھ رہے تھے؛ اسی لیے وہ وِچِتروِیریہ کے بیٹے راجا دھرتراشٹر کے پاس جانے کو آمادہ ہوئے۔
