निकृन्तन्तमनीकानि शरदंष्टं मनस्विनम्‌ । चापव्यात्ताननं घोरमसिजिह्ठलं दुरासदम्‌

Transliteration

nikṛntantam anīkāni śarad-aṃṣṭraṃ manasvinam | cāpa-vyāttānanaṃ ghoraṃ asi-jihvalaṃ durāsadam ||

Translation

دھرتراشٹر نے کہا—میں نے اسے صف بندیوں کو کاٹتے دیکھا—گویا خزاں کے نوکیلے دانتوں والا کوئی درندہ۔ وہ بلند ہمت اور پختہ ارادہ تھا؛ ہیبت ناک—کمان کھینچے منہ وا کیے، اور اس کی تلوار شعلے کی زبان کی طرح چمک رہی تھی—اس کے قریب جانا نہایت دشوار تھا۔
