व्युपरम्य ततो युद्धाद् योधा: शतसहस्रश: । उपतस्थुर्महात्मानं प्रजापतिमिवामरा:,तदनन्तर लाखों योद्धा युद्धसे विरत होकर जैसे देवता प्रजापतिकी सेवामें उपस्थित होते हैं, उसी प्रकार महात्मा भीष्मके पास आये
vyuparamya tato yuddhād yodhāḥ śatasahasraśaḥ | upatasthur mahātmānaṃ prajāpativ ivāmarāḥ ||
پھر جنگ سے باز آ کر لاکھوں یودھا مہاتما بھیشم کے پاس اس طرح حاضر ہوئے جیسے دیوتا پرجاپتی کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوتے ہیں۔
