Shloka 107
तस्मात् प्राणान् धारयिष्ये मुमूर्षुरुदगायने । यश्न दत्तो वरो महां पित्रा तेन महात्मना
tasmāt prāṇān dhārayiṣye mumūrṣur udagāyane | yasya datto varo mahān pitrā tena mahātmanā ||
“پس، اگرچہ میں رخصت ہونے کا خواہاں ہوں، پھر بھی اُتّرایَن میں موت پانے کی آرزو سے میں اپنے سانسوں کو تھامے رکھوں گا۔ میرے مہاتما باپ نے مجھے جو عظیم ور دیا تھا—کہ مجھے اِچّھا مِرتیو حاصل ہو—وہ پورا ہو۔ جان چھوڑنے کا جو مقرر وقت ہے، اس کے آنے تک میں یقیناً ان سانسوں کو روکے رکھوں گا۔”
