संजय उवाच कुरव: पाण्डवै: सार्थ यदयुध्यन्त भारत । यथा च तदभूद् युद्ध तत् तु वक्ष्यामि साम्प्रतम्,संजयने कहा--भारत! कौरवोंने पाण्डवोंके साथ जो युद्ध किया और जिस प्रकार वह युद्ध हुआ, वह सब इस समय बताता हूँ
sañjaya uvāca | kuravaḥ pāṇḍavaiḥ sārthaṃ yad ayudhyanta bhārata | yathā ca tad abhūd yuddhaṃ tat tu vakṣyāmi sāmpratam ||
سنجے نے کہا—اے بھارت! کوروؤں نے پانڈوؤں کے ساتھ جو جنگ کی اور جس طرح وہ جنگ برپا ہوئی، وہ سب میں اب بیان کرتا ہوں۔
