भीष्मस्य जलप्रार्थना — अर्जुनस्य पर्जन्यास्त्रप्रयोगः — दुर्योधनं प्रति सन्ध्युपदेशः

ततस्तु सशरं चाप॑ सात्वतस्य महात्मन: । क्षुरप्रेण सुतीक्ष्णेन चिच्छेद कृतहस्तवत्,तत्पश्चात् सिद्धहस्त पुरुषकी भाँति भीमसेनने अत्यन्त तीखे क्षुरप्रके द्वारा महामना कृतवर्माके बाणसहित धनुषको काट डाला
tatastu saśaraṃ cāpaṃ sātvatasya mahātmanaḥ | kṣurapreṇa sutīkṣṇena ciccheda kṛtahastavat ||
سنجے نے کہا—پھر بھیم سین نے ماہر تیرانداز کی طرح نہایت تیز دھار والے کْشُرپر تیر سے مہاتما ساتوت کرت ورما کی کمان کو تیر سمیت کاٹ ڈالا۔
