दशमे5हनि सम्प्राप्ते ततस्तां रिपुवाहिनीम्‌ । कीर्यमाणां शितैर्बाणै: शतशो5थ सहसत्रश:,दसवें दिन शत्रुकी सेनापर भीष्मके द्वारा सैकड़ों और हजारों पैने बाणोंकी वर्षा की जाने लगी परंतु पाण्डव इसे रोक न सके

daśame 'hani samprāpte tatas tāṁ ripuvāhinīm | kīryamāṇāṁ śitair bāṇaiḥ śataśo 'tha sahasraśaḥ ||

جب دسویں دن کا آغاز ہوا تو دشمن کی فوج پر سینکڑوں اور ہزاروں تیز تیروں کی بارش ہونے لگی۔
