विराटस्तु ततः पश्चात् स्वेन सैन्येन संवृतः । द्रुपदश्च महाबाहो ततः पश्चादुपाद्रवत्,उनके पीछे अपनी सेनाके साथ राजा विराट चलने लगे। महाबाहो! विराटके पीछे द्रपदने धावा किया
virāṭas tu tataḥ paścāt svena sainyena saṃvṛtaḥ | drupadaś ca mahābāho tataḥ paścād upādravat ||
اس کے بعد راجا وِراٹ اپنی ہی فوج کے گھیرے میں آگے بڑھا۔ اور اے مہاباہو، وِراٹ کے پیچھے پیچھے راجا دُرُپد بھی دھاوا کرتا ہوا لپکا۔
