अहं त्वामनुयास्यामि परान् विद्रावय5शरै: । अभिद्रव सुसंरब्धो भीष्म॑ भीमपराक्रमम्,“वीर! मैं बाणोंद्वारा शत्रुओंकोी भगाता हुआ सदा तुम्हारा साथ दूँगा। अत: तुम भयंकर पराक्रमी भीष्मपर रोषपूर्वक आक्रमण करो
ahaṃ tvām anuyāsyāmi parān vidrāvayaś śaraiḥ | abhidrava susaṃrabdho bhīṣmaṃ bhīmaparākramam ||
میں اپنے تیروں سے دشمنوں کو پسپا کرتا ہوا تمہارے پیچھے پیچھے چلوں گا۔ اس لیے تم سخت جوش و غضب کے ساتھ، ہولناک پرَاکرم والے بھیشم پر چڑھ دوڑو۔
