तत्र कार्यतमं मन्ये भीष्मस्यैवाभिरक्षणम् | गोप्ता होष महेष्वासो भीष्मो5स्माकं महाव्रत:,“अतः इस अवसरपर मैं भीष्मजीकी रक्षाको ही प्रधान कार्य समझता हूँ; क्योंकि ये महाव्रती महाधनुर्धर भीष्म हमलोगोंके रक्षक हैं
tatra kāryatamaṃ manye bhīṣmasyaivābhirakṣaṇam | goptā hoṣa maheṣvāso bhīṣmo 'smākaṃ mahāvrataḥ ||
وہاں میں سب سے زیادہ ضروری کام صرف بھیشم کی حفاظت کو سمجھتا ہوں؛ کیونکہ یہ عظیم عہد والے، عظیم کماندار بھیشم ہی ہمارے لشکر کے محافظ ہیں۔
