भीष्म-पर्व अध्याय १०० — त्रिगर्त-आक्रमण, भीष्म-केन्द्रित पुनर्संयोजन, तथा शक्त्यस्त्र-विनिमय
उवाच प्राञ्जलिर्भीष्मं बाष्पकण्ठो5श्रुलोचन: । त्वां वयं हि समाश्रित्य संयुगे शत्रुसूदन
uvāca prāñjalir bhīṣmaṃ bāṣpa-kaṇṭho ’śru-locanaḥ | tvāṃ vayaṃ hi samāśritya saṃyuge śatru-sūdana ||
پھر وہ ہاتھ باندھ کر، گلا آنسوؤں سے بھرا اور آنکھیں نم ہوئیں، بھیشم سے بولا—“اے شترُسودن! میدانِ جنگ میں ہم آپ کا سہارا لے کر…۔”
