Marutta’s Sacrifice and Agni’s Embassy (मरुत्त-यज्ञे दूतत्वम्)
यदर्थ मां प्राहिणोत् त्वत्सकाशं बृहस्पतिं परिदातुं मरुत्ते । अयं गुरुर्याजयतां नृप त्वां मर्त्य सन््तममरं त्वां करोतु
yadarthaṁ māṁ prāhiṇot tvatsakāśaṁ bṛhaspatiṁ paridātuṁ marutte | ayaṁ gurur yājayatāṁ nṛpa tvāṁ martya san tam amaraṁ tvāṁ karotu ||
جس مقصد کے لیے اُس نے مجھے تمہارے پاس بھیجا ہے، وہ سنو، مروتّ! وہ میرے ذریعے برہسپتی کو تمہارے حضور بھیجنا چاہتا ہے۔ اُس نے کہا ہے—“یہی تمہارا گرو ہے؛ اے بادشاہ، یہی تمہارا یَجْن کرائے۔ تم فانی انسان ہو؛ یہ تمہیں اَمَرتو (لازوال) کی حالت تک پہنچا دے۔”
