एवमत्र महाराज दक्षिणां त्रिगुणां कुरु । त्रित्वं ब्रजतु ते राजन्‌ ब्राह्मणा ह्वात्र कारणम्‌,“महाराज! यज्ञके प्रधान कारण ब्राह्मण ही हैं; इसलिये तुम उन्हें तिगुनी दक्षिणा देना। ऐसा करनेसे तुम्हारा यह एक ही यज्ञ तीन यज्ञोंके समान हो जायगा

evaṃ atra mahārāja dakṣiṇāṃ triguṇāṃ kuru | tritvaṃ brajatu te rājan brāhmaṇā hy atra kāraṇam ||

وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا—اے مہاراج! یہاں تین گنا دَکْشِنا دو۔ اے راجَن، اس یَجْیَہ کا اصل سبب برہمن ہی ہیں؛ اس لیے تمہارا یہ ایک ہی یَجْیَہ تین یَجْیَوں کے برابر ہو جائے گا۔
