इस प्रकार श्रीमह्ााभारत आश्वमेधिकपर्वके अन्तर्गत अनुगीतापर्वमें परीक्षित॒के जन्मका वर्णनविषयक छाछठवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraṁ śrī-mahābhārata āśvamedhika-parvake antargata anugītā-parvaṇi parīkṣitasya janma-varṇana-viṣayakaḥ ṣaṭ-ṣaṣṭitamaḥ adhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ abhavat
یوں معزز مہابھارت کے اشومیدھک پرب کے تحت انوگیتا پرب میں پریکشِت کی پیدائش کے بیان سے متعلق چھیاسٹھواں ادھیائے مکمل ہوا۔
वैशम्पायन उवाच
As a colophon, the verse does not teach a doctrine directly; it emphasizes textual and ethical framing: the narrative of Parīkṣit’s birth is presented as part of re-establishing dharma after devastation, highlighting continuity of rightful rule and responsibility across generations.
The narrator (Vaiśampāyana) signals the end of a chapter: the sixty-sixth chapter of the Anugītā section within the Aśvamedhika Parva, whose subject is the description of Parīkṣit’s birth.
