Kṛṣṇa’s Departure, Auspicious Omens, and the Opening of the Uttaṅka Dialogue (कृष्णप्रयाण-निमित्त-उत्तङ्कसंवाद-प्रारम्भः)
त्वयि सर्वमिदं विश्व यदिदं स्थाणु जड़मम् । त्वं हि सर्व विकुरुषे भूतग्रामं चतुर्विधम्,“यह जो स्थावर-जंगमरूप जगत् है, सब आपटीमें प्रतिष्ठित है। आप ही चार प्रकारके समस्त प्राणिसमुदायकी सृष्टि करते हैं
tvayi sarvam idaṁ viśva yad idaṁ sthāṇu jaḍam | tvaṁ hi sarvaṁ vikuruṣe bhūtagrāmaṁ caturvidham ||
وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا— یہ سارا جگت، جو ساکن و متحرک ہے، آپ ہی میں قائم ہے۔ آپ ہی سب کو صورت دیتے ہیں اور چار قسم کے جانداروں کے گروہ کو پیدا کرتے ہیں۔
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse affirms a theistic-cosmological vision: the entire world—especially the immovable and insentient domain—is grounded in the divine, and the diversity of living beings arises through that divine agency. Ethically, it supports humility and devotion by locating all power of creation and transformation beyond the individual ego.
Vaiśampāyana, as narrator, voices a praise-statement addressed to the supreme divine figure being spoken to in the surrounding passage, emphasizing that the universe rests in that being and that all creatures are brought forth by that being’s creative power.
