Sāttvika-vṛtta-kathana (Brahmā on the Conduct of Sattva) — Chapter 38
क्षमा धृतिरहिंसा च समता सत्यमार्जवम् | अक्रोधश्वानसूया च शौचं दाक्ष्यं पराक्रम:
kṣamā dhṛtir ahiṃsā ca samatā satyam ārjavam | akrodhaś cān asūyā ca śaucaṃ dākṣyaṃ parākramaḥ ||
وایو دیو نے کہا— درگزر، ثابت قدمی، اہنسا (عدمِ تشدد)، یکسانیتِ نظر، سچائی، راست روی، غصّے سے پاکی، عیب جوئی سے پرہیز، پاکیزگی، مہارت اور شجاعت— یہی سَتْوَگُن کے نمایاں آثار اور اس کے اوصاف ہیں۔
