जनक–ब्राह्मणसंवादः

Viṣaya, Mamatva, and Self-Mastery

कस्येदमिति कस्य स्वमिति वेदवचस्तथा । नाध्यगच्छमहं बुद्ध्या ममेदमिति यद्‌ भवेत्‌,वेद भी कहता है--“यह वस्तु किसकी है? यह किसका धन है? (अर्थात्‌ किसीका नहीं है)! इसलिये जब मैं अपनी बुद्धिसे विचार करता हूँ, तब कोई भी वस्तु ऐसी नहीं जान पड़ती, जिसे अपनी कह सकें

kasyedam iti kasya svam iti vedavacas tathā | nādhyagaccham ahaṁ buddhyā mamedam iti yad bhavet ||

جنک نے کہا—وید کی بانی بھی پوچھتی ہے: ‘یہ کس کا ہے؟ یہ کس کی دولت ہے؟’—یعنی حقیقت میں کسی کا نہیں۔ لہٰذا جب میں اپنی عقل سے غور کرتا ہوں تو کوئی چیز ایسی نہیں پاتا جسے بجا طور پر ‘میری’ ٹھہرایا جا سکے۔
