अध्वर्यु–यति संवादः

Adhvaryu–Yati Dialogue on Svabhāva, Ahiṃsā, and Mokṣa

तमध्वर्यु: प्रत्युवाच नायं छागो विनश्यति । श्रेयसा योक्ष्यते जन्तुर्यदि श्रुतिरियं तथा,अध्वर्युने यतिको इस प्रकार उत्तर दिया--'यह बकरा नष्ट नहीं होगा। यदि “पशुर्व नीयमान:” इत्यादि श्रुति सत्य है तो यह जीव कल्याणका ही भागी होगा

tam adhvaryuḥ pratyuvāca: nāyaṃ chāgo vinaśyati | śreyasā yokṣyate jantur yadi śrutir iyaṃ tathā ||

ادھوریو نے جواب دیا—“یہ بکری برباد نہیں ہوگی۔ اگر شروتی کا یہ حکم سچا ہے تو یہ جیو ‘شریَس’ یعنی اعلیٰ بھلائی سے وابستہ ہوگا۔”
