Adhyāya 26 — Ekākṣara-Brahman (“Om”) and the Hṛdayastha Guru

अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम् | प्रजापतौ पन्नगानां देवर्षीणां च संविदम्,पूर्वकालमें सर्पों, देवताओं और ऋषियोंकी प्रजापतिके साथ जो बातचीत हुई थी, उस प्राचीन इतिहासके जानकार लोग उस विषयमें उदाहरण दिया करते हैं
atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṃ purātanam | prajāpatau pannagānāṃ devarṣīṇāṃ ca saṃvidam pūrvakālam ||
یہاں بھی اہلِ دانش ایک قدیم نظیر پیش کرتے ہیں—وہ پرانا بیان کہ جس میں بہت پہلے پرجاپتی کی حضوری میں ناگوں اور دیورشیوں کے درمیان گفتگو ہوئی تھی؛ اسی کو اس معاملے کی سمجھ کے لیے عبرت آموز مثال کے طور پر یاد کیا جاتا ہے۔
