Dehānta (Cyavana) and Upapatti: Kāśyapa’s Questions and the Siddha’s Account of Death, Pain, and Karmic Re-embodiment

वेदनाभि: परीतात्मा तद्‌ विद्धि द्विजसत्तम । जातीमरणसंविग्ना: सततं सर्वजन्तवः

vedanābhiḥ parītātmā tad viddhi dvijasattama | jātimaraṇasaṃvignāḥ satataṃ sarvajantavaḥ ||

سِدھّا نے کہا—اے افضلِ دُو بارہ جنم لینے والے! یہ بات خوب جان لو کہ موت کے وقت جسم میں بسنے والی جان اُن دردوں سے گھِر جاتی ہے جو بدن اور دل و دماغ دونوں کو جکڑ لیتے ہیں۔ اسی لیے دنیا کے تمام جاندار ہمیشہ پیدائش اور موت کے اندیشے سے مضطرب رہتے ہیں۔
