धृतराष्ट्रस्य पाण्डवेषु प्रीति-वृत्तान्तः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Affectionate Disposition toward the Pāṇḍavas

वयं पुत्रा हि भवतो यथा दुर्योधनादय: । गान्धारी चैव कुन्ती च निर्विशेषे मते मम,जैसे दुर्योधन आदि आपके पुत्र थे, वैसे ही हम भी हैं। मेरे लिये गान्धारी और कुन्तीमें कोई अन्तर नहीं है

yudhiṣṭhira uvāca |

vayaṃ putrā hi bhavato yathā duryodhanādayaḥ |

gāndhārī caiva kuntī ca nirviśeṣe mate mama ||

یُدھشٹھِر نے کہا— جیسے دُریودھن وغیرہ آپ کے بیٹے تھے، ویسے ہی ہم بھی آپ کے بیٹے ہیں۔ میری رائے میں گاندھاری اور کُنتی میں کوئی امتیاز نہیں۔
