जगमदग्निर्वाच स्थिरं चापि चल॑ चापि जाने त्वां ज्ञानचक्षुषा | अवश्यं विनयाधान कार्यमद्य मया तव

Transliteration

Jamadagnir uvāca: sthiraṁ cāpi calaṁ cāpi jāne tvāṁ jñānacakṣuṣā | avaśyaṁ vinayādhānaṁ kāryam adya mayā tava ||

Translation

جمَدگنی نے کہا—تمہارا ہدف ثابت ہو یا متزلزل، میں نے چشمِ معرفت سے تمہیں پہچان لیا ہے—تم سورج ہو۔ لہٰذا آج میں ضرور تمہیں تادیب دوں گا تاکہ تم فروتنی اور حسنِ سلوک میں قائم ہو جاؤ۔
