इत्युक्त: स तथेत्युक्त्वा भगवान् हव्यवाहन: । जगामाथ दुराधर्षो गड़ां भागीरथीं प्रति,देवताओंके ऐसा कहनेपर “तथास्तु” कहकर दुर्धर्ष भगवान् हव्यवाहन भागीरथी गंगाके तटपर गये
ity uktaḥ sa tathety uktvā bhagavān havyavāhanaḥ | jagāmātha durādharṣo gaṅgāṃ bhāgīrathīṃ prati ||
دیوتاؤں کی یہ بات سن کر ناقابلِ مزاحمت بھگوان ہویَوَاہن نے “تथاستु” کہا اور بھاگیرتھی گنگا کی طرف روانہ ہوا۔
