Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
एवमड्रिरसश्लैव कवेश्ष प्रसवान्वयै: । भगोश्व भूगुशार्दूल वंशजै: सततं जगत्
evam aḍrirasaś caiva kaveṣa prasavānvayaiḥ | bhagoś ca bhṛguśārdūla vaṃśajaiḥ satataṃ jagat ||
وسِشٹھ نے کہا—اے بھِرِگوؤں کے شیر! اسی طرح اَڈْرِرَس اور کَوی کی نسلوں کی پرورش یافتہ روایت سے، اور بھَگ کے وंशجوں کے ذریعے بھی، یہ جگت برابر سنبھالا اور آگے بڑھایا جاتا رہا ہے۔
वसिष्ठ उवाच
The verse emphasizes continuity of the world through righteous succession—lineages and descendants preserve social and cosmic order, implying that maintaining dharmic family lines and responsibilities sustains society.
