आग्नेयस्त्वंगिरा: श्रीमान्‌ कविर्राह्मो महायशा: । भार्गवांगिरसौ लोके लोकसंतानलक्षणौ

Transliteration

āgneyas tv aṅgirāḥ śrīmān kavir brāhmo mahāyaśāḥ | bhārgavāṅgirasau loke lokasantānalakṣaṇau ||

Translation

وسِشٹھ نے کہا—تابناک اور بلندنام انگِیرا ‘آگنیہ’ کے نام سے مشہور ہوا، اور عظیم شہرت والے رِشی-کَوی ‘براہْم’ کے نام سے معروف ہوئے۔ بھِرگو اور انگِیرا—یہ دونوں دنیا میں نسلوں کی بنیاد اور امتیازی سرچشمے کہے گئے ہیں؛ اپنی اولاد کے ذریعے تخلیق کو پھیلاتے ہیں۔
