Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
ततः स जनयामास भूतग्रामं च वीर्यवान् । तस्य तत् तेजसस्तस्माज्जज्ञे लोकेषु तैजसम्
tataḥ sa janayāmāsa bhūtagrāmaṃ ca vīryavān | tasya tat tejasas tasmāj jajñe lokeṣu taijasam ||
پھر اُس صاحبِ قوت نے مخلوقات کے گروہ کو پیدا کیا۔ اُسی کے تَیَس (نورانی قوت) سے عوالم میں ‘تَیجَس’ آفرینش ظاہر ہوئی—وہ جاندار جو حرکت اور فعّالیت میں نمایاں ہیں۔
वसिष्ठ उवाच
Creation is presented as an ordered emergence of diverse beings from a single potent source, with distinct modes (such as the taijasa, activity-energized mode) arising from differentiated aspects of that source’s tejas—linking cosmology with the guṇa-based understanding of nature.
Vasiṣṭha describes a stage of cosmic generation: the powerful creator brings forth the collective of beings, and from his radiance arises the taijasa class within the worlds—associated with energetic, mobile, activity-dominant life.
