भीष्म उवाच
Bhīṣma concludes his instruction by emphasizing that the discourse on the greatness of cows is supremely sacred and purifying, framing cow-protection and reverence as a dharmic practice with ethical and spiritual merit.
Bhīṣma, in the Anuśāsana Parva’s instructional setting, signals the completion of his exposition: he has finished narrating to his listener the exalted and sanctifying ‘māhātmya’ (sacred greatness) of cows.
