Chapter 85: Suvarṇasya Janma ca Pradāna-Phalam
The Origin of Gold and the Merit of Gifting
न वो<स्ति कुत्सितं किंचिदंगेष्वालक्ष्यतेडनघा: । पुण्या: पवित्रा: सुभगा ममादेशं प्रयच्छथ
na vo 'sti kutsitaṁ kiñcid aṅgeṣv ālakṣyate 'naghāḥ | puṇyāḥ pavitrāḥ subhagā mama ādeśaṁ prayacchatha ||
اے بے عیب عورتو! تمہارے وجود میں مجھے کوئی چیز حقیر یا ناپسندیدہ نظر نہیں آتی۔ تم نیکی کی حامل، پاکیزہ اور سعادت مند ہو؛ پس میری ہدایت قبول کرو اور اسے پورا کرو۔
भीष्म उवाच
Moral worth is recognized through purity of conduct and auspicious qualities; those who are blameless and virtuous are fit to receive and carry out righteous instruction.
Bhishma addresses a group respectfully as “blameless,” affirms that he sees no fault in them, praises their purity and merit, and then asks them to comply with or carry out his directive.
