न मित्रधुडनैकृतिक: कृतघ्नः शठो<नृजुर्धर्मविद्वेषकश्न । न ब्रह्महा मनसापि प्रपश्येद् गवां लोकं पुण्यकृतां निवासम्
na mitradhruḍ anaitṛtikaḥ kṛtaghnaḥ śaṭho 'nṛjur dharmavidveṣakaś ca | na brahmahā manasāpi prapaśyed gavāṁ lokaṁ puṇyakṛtāṁ nivāsam ||
بھیشم نے کہا: جو دوستوں سے غداری کرے، بےاصول ہو، ناشکرا ہو، مکار و کج رو ہو اور دھرم کا دشمن ہو—اور جو برہمن کا قاتل بھی ہو—وہ گایوں کے اُس جہان (گولوک) کو، جو اہلِ ثواب کا مسکن ہے، خیال میں بھی نہیں دیکھ سکتا۔
