गवां लोकवर्णनं तथा गोप्रदानफलश्रुतिः

Description of the ‘World of Cows’ and the Stated Fruits of Cow-Gift

सर्ववर्णस्तु यच्छक्यं प्रदातुं फलकाड्क्षिभि: । वेदे वा यत्‌ समाख्यातं तन्मे व्याख्यातुमरहसि,दानके फलकी इच्छा रखनेवाले सभी वर्णोंके लोग जो दान कर सकें अथवा वेदमें जिस दानका वर्णन हो, उसकी मेरे समक्ष व्याख्या कीजिये

sarvavarṇas tu yac chakyaṃ pradātuṃ phalākāṅkṣibhiḥ | vede vā yat samākhyātaṃ tan me vyākhyātum arhasi ||

یُدھِشٹھِر نے کہا— جو عطیے دینے کی قدرت تمام ورنوں کے لوگ رکھتے ہیں اور جو دان وید میں بیان کیے گئے ہیں، اُن کی حقیقت اور تفصیل مجھے سمجھا دیجیے۔
